The CNU Fishing Club, advised by Dr. Kip Redick, is a recognized sport club at Christopher Newport University. The club exists to unite CNU anglers in a social network as well as maintain a competitive intercollegiate team. These teams compete against one and other at various locations across the country for the title of number one school in the nation. In addition to this, The CNU Fishing Club is dedicated to educating the community in environmental awareness and encouraging responsible angling. We will be discussing membership benefits, future trips and events, as well as potential fundraising opportunities. Please bring your ideas if you have any! This meeting, as with all of our future meetings, is open to all who are interested, not just registered members. Come stop by to see what the Fishing Club has to offer you!

What is Collegiate Bass Fishing you ask.....?

Collegiate bass fishing is the ultimate competition for college level bass anglers. In these tournaments college teams battle for the title of #1 in the nation. Some tournaments also offer scholarship money for the competing anglers. Below are some sites you can visit to learn more.
