The CNU Fishing Club, advised by Dr. Rob Atkinson, is a recognized outdoor recreation club at Christopher Newport University. The club exists to unite CNU anglers in a social network as well as maintain a competitive intercollegiate team. These teams compete against one and other at various locations across the country for the title of number one school in the nation. In addition to this, The CNU Fishing Club is dedicated to educating the community in environmental awareness and encouraging responsible angling.
